Salam,
This is the second days of my new level of life. I am officially engaged on the 9th March 2008, the next day that witnessed the falling of BN in 5 states (6 actually including KL) in the recent General Election 2008. Alhamdullilah, everything went well although not really according to the schedule due to miscalculation in time management.
The whole preparation has been started few months ago but the really kickoff preparation has only began in a week (less actually..).
The ceremony taken place at Serendah, Rawang. It is not alia's home but her uncle's. Initially we have agreed to hold the ceremony at Rawang since the first families meeting held in her hometown in Kelantan.
During the day, my families departed at around 2:15 PM. I feel grateful to have my relatives together with aTok Mah for the ceremony. The journey to Serendah from my home at TTDI are about 50 KM but we took an hour to reach to the destination due to my own fault since i am the guide. Its feel really silly for me since i did make a survey to the place but still turning into wrong directions.
We reached at around 3:25 where we first notice the canopy has been installed. My aunt said, ' macam dah nak kawen je' hehehe. Since i led the convoy, i parked my car at the first spot nearest to the canopy. I got out from my car an looked back. By then i realized that about 9 cars following me behind. gulp!

The ceremony began and i left and this is the part where i have no idea what happened during the discussion between families.
I was thinking that maybe the discussion is over, and slowly i drove back to the house. Then i receive the second call from ALia, the third call from Dilah and the forth call from abah again, asking where was i? I was abit wonder why there is need for a rush? then they mentioned that there's a special ceremony from the other side of the family represented by abah alia to fit a ring to my finger.
Thats new...yes the green gems ring on my finger and not to forget to small cute and charming ring fitted by mak to alia's finger as the sign of our engagement
THanks to all (Abah, Mak, my siblings, atoks, pakciks and makciks, my cousins, abah n umi alia's, alia's siblings alia's relatives, the ustaz and the rest who attend and involved directly n indirectly) who has been really working towards the ceremony. Praise to Allah for the smoothness and blessing given.
Regards
